Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have. It covers this website only.
Who is responsible
Kindling (“Kindling”, “we”) is responsible for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at contact@kindling-software.co.
What we collect and why
Enquiries through our forms
When you send an enquiry through the contact form or a landing page form, we receive your name, email address, your message, how you heard about us, and the page you sent it from. We use this to reply to you and to prepare the process review.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The form is delivered to our inbox by Formspree, Inc. (USA), which processes it on our behalf.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the content of your message, and use them to reply.
Analytics without cookies
We use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, to see which pages and buttons are used. It records the page, the referring site, browser and device type, country, and events such as starting or sending a form — together with campaign parameters (utm_*) from the link you arrived through. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The tools below load only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. Until then, Google Consent Mode is set to deny advertising and analytics storage.
Meta Pixel — only with your consent
We load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure visits, sent forms and booked calls that come from our ads. It sets a cookie (_fbp). When you send a form, our server also sends Meta a hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address, your IP address and your browser's user agent through the Meta Conversions API, so the enquiry can be matched to an ad.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
What we store on your device
| Name | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
consent:marketing | Cookie and local storage | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner. |
color-scheme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode. |
analytics:utms | Session storage, cleared when you close the tab | Campaign parameters from the link you arrived through (utm_*, fbclid), used to tell which campaign an enquiry came from. |
Web fonts
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). To fetch them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
Hosting
Our hosting provider processes the technical data needed to deliver the website — such as your IP address, the time of the request and your browser type — in server logs.
Providers outside the EU
Some of the providers above are based in the USA or belong to groups based there (Formspree, Meta, Google), and may process data there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to contact@kindling-software.co.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg) or with the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
We update this page when what the website collects changes.
